ABOUT ME
| Thank you for visiting, my name is Scott Miura and I began Miura Images in 2006 with the advice of some friends. Here are a few facts about me that you may or may not find interesting. Born and raised in Sacramento, CA...I finally found my way to Southern California in the summer of 2000. My first camera was a 110mm given to me to take on a school camping trip in 1990. I first began photographing import car shows in the late-1990's in Northern California, which later evolved into photographing drift races and other motorsport events such as the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. My first ever attempt to photograph a wedding was in the summer of 2003, but I really began photographing weddings in early 2007. I am new to fatherhood, with a 4 month old son. Mika is forever our puppy. Mika is currently a 2-1/2 year old Havanese. In my free time away from photographing I enjoy spending family time with my wife, son, and puppy. You will also find me out on a golf course somewhere, or cycling throughout the area.
